Two men, one an artist and the other an actor, become friends. Then, the actor and his partner join the artist and his wife for a summer in Italy. Things do not go smoothly. Then the film ends.
You can probably tell that I didn’t like this film. The film consisted of long shots of things that were not all that important, and didn’t spend much time setting up the characters or their relationships. Consequently, when things start going bad for them, I just didn’t care. It’s not an original plot, and so it really needed much more special treatment to keep me engaged.
