Sightseers (2012) Film Review

Tina (Alice Lowe) is in her thirties and lives a very repressed life with her sick mother. She has been seeing Chris (Steve Oram) and they venture on a week-long caravan tour of England. Things change, however, when Tina discovers that Chris has a very dark hobby; a hobby she takes to with aplomb.

I’d recommend watching this with no knowledge other than that it is a very, very black comedy. It’s dark, but extremely funny. Written and directed by the two main actors, Sightseers shows what a great story can be told on a small budget.
