Weichung (Richie Ren) and Feng (Mavis Fan) have been married for nine years and have a little boy. Feng desperately wants another child, whilst Weichung is fondly remember his homosexual past from before they were married. Meanwhile, his sister is engaged and is trying to find a way to get out of having to settle down, preferring to obsess over a character from her favourite soap opera.

It is described as a comedy, and there are a few funny moments, but in general Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow is a drama on the poor choices that people make and how they attempt to undo them. The stills and the trailer give it a real comic twist, but it is not really that funny. It’s quite sweet at times, and the characters are delightful, just don’t expect a hilarious romp.

Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow screens at the Kino Cinema on Monday, July 29 at 6:30pm and at the Forum Theatre on Sunday, August 4 at 11am. To book tickets, visit http://miff.com.au/
