The second of the Sookie Stackhouse series of books that spawned the television series True Blood, Living Dead in Dallas sees the relationship of Sookie and Bill going through some rough patches but all the while, she is learning where she as a telepath fits in to the vampire world. Travelling to Dallas presents Sookie with a series of new vampire experiences, but it is when he returns home that she discovers some of the real danger.
I am totally and utterly engrossed in this series; the books, the characters, the fact that ridiculous stories can easily exist in the world Harris has created. I couldn’t put this one down until it was finished, even accidentally staying up a bit too late.
