Delusions of Grandma by Carrie Fisher – Book Review

Cora Sharpe is a Hollywood screenwriter who finds she is pregnant after her relationship with a lawyer, Ray, has ended. She writes letters to the unborn child and tries to figure out how it all happened and what she’s doing from here.

While I like her writing, I find that the plot of the book is really choppy and uneven, which is a bit frustrating. Also, it is jammed with witticisms which are extremely clever but pushed me out of the story. I hate to say it, but overall, I didn’t really enjoy reading this book.
