My Sister the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite – Book Review

What do you do when you’re a good girl, a nurse, in love with a handsome doctor colleague, but your life keeps going off track when you have to help your sister clean up after yet another of her boyfriends ends up dead?

This is a great book, very dark humour, an excellent plot, I just loved it. I loved the protagonist, Korede, and the way she handles herself. This is Braithewaite’s debut novel and was longlisted for both the Women’s Prize for Fiction, the Booker Prize and was shortlisted for the Amazon Publishing Readers Awards in 2019, and won the LA Times Award for Best Crime Thriller. Pretty awesome for a debut novel, definitely worth keeping an eye on this author.
