Birds of Prey :And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn (2020)Film Review

This is the story of Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), a psychopathic woman who, after splitting with the Joker after Suicide Squad, ends up with a motley crew of women trying to right a wrong. Kind of.

I loved this – so much crazy action, Margot Robbie being totally kick arse, women everywhere doing violence. I mean, I usually enjoy a violent Hollywood blockbuster, especially a superhero one (provided it has a sense of humour). But I really liked this – I think it’s partly because I love an unreliable narrator in a book, and I like a good antihero. Harley Quinn is selfish but she ultimately has a code. And some kick arse lines.
