How quickly a life can change. Llewllyn was jogging through Central Park having made New York her home when she started to have some physical symptoms that lead to a diagnosis of MS. This memoir tells of her parents, her father in a wheelchair after having polio in his early adulthood and meeting and falling in love with Llwellyn’s mother. It was never an easy life, and I was concerned about reading this book in the bleak time of restrictions due to COVID-19. But it’s a fascinating story, surprisingly funny at times. I loved it.
