Tobias Ellis (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a co-pilot on a plane which, shortly after take-off, is stormed by hijackers. With the pilot dead and severely injured, Ellis needs to make decisions about how to get through this situation.
Unlike most hijacking films (which really seemed to be huge in the 80s and 90s… it’s been a while), this feels quite real. It’s no glamorised event with Harrison Ford or Wesley Snipes being cool heroes. It’s a normal guy struggling with the decisions he needs to make. It’s compelling and tense in an almost everyday manner.
