Angel Has Fallen (2019) Film Review

This is the third in the ‘Has Fallen’ series (after Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen) with Gerard Butler playing Mike Banning and Morgan Freeman playing President Trumbull. This time, there is an attack on President Trumbull which kills all of his security detail – except Banning. All the evidence points to Banning as the instigator, so he needs to escape the authorities and prove himself innocent.
Fast moving, lots of violence, and intrigue. It’s great, exactly what I enjoy in a Hollywood action blockbuster. Excitingly, IMDB shows that Night Has Fallen is in production, though who knows what that really means in the time of a worldwide pandemic where the US is really struggling to get any semblance of control over the spread and treatment of the disease.
