Army of the Dead (2021) Film Review

There’s been a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas and the entire city has been contained, with governmental plans to blow the whole place up. However, there is a wealthy man who wants to save the money from the safe below a casino – but to keep it quiet, because insurance has already paid out. So, Scott Ward (Dave Bautista) is hired, puts together a crack team and the zombie heist is on!
For me, the first, maybe, ten minutes is brilliant. It’s an entire zombie film in one brief sequence. Then… it’s a movie that has some fabulous sequences that I enjoyed, but it was a bit long for my liking, and really, a bit cheesy. But good fun. If you want something to watch without needing to concentrate too much, check it out.
