Booksmart (2019) Film Review

Amy (Kaitlyn Dever) and Molly (Beanie Feldstein) have spent their high school years studying to get in to their first choices for college. The day before graduation they realise that many of their colleagues who they looked down on for partying the year away have also achieved their dreams, and regrets, Amy and Molly have a few. So, with one night before their high school life is over, they are determined to party on. But how?

There is so much to love about this film. Dever and Feldstein are awesome, and the film has a perfect balance between quirk and reality… actually, there’s probably more quirk, but that’s the way I like it. I enjoyed this oh so much. Oh so much.
