Deckhard (Jason Statham) was the bad guy in the last film, so, playing to formula, he needs to be the only person who can help the Furious team beat whoever the next bad guy is. And surely enough… So good. Just so good. Don’t change anything, fast cars and fighting and guns and… that’s all I need. Honest. Oh, and what a title. Though to really make it work as part eight, surely it should be F8 of the Furious. Surely.
