Just Ignore Him by Alan Davies – Book Review

Alan Davies is known to many as the side-kick to Stephen Fry and later Sandy Toksvig on QI, and as the titular character on the British crime series Jonathon Creek. This biography covers his youth, with his mother dying when he was very young leaving him with a brother and sister who he didn’t get along with and a father who abused him.

Clearly, this is going to be hard reading. It reads both like a book which is helping him to understand his own childhood and his memories and emotions about it, and a book to let others who may have had other experiences know that they are not alone.
