Metal Fish, Falling Snow by Cath Moore (Book Review)

Dylan’s mother has died and she is taken by her mother’s boyfriend on a road trip across Australia. However, Dylan lives in her own world, a world where things need to be fixed, where the logic doesn’t fit into the adult world, a world filled with grief and confusion and stories.

This is a beautiful novel and won the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for Writing for Young Adults as well as being shortlisted and long-listed for numerous other awards. It is stunning and heartbreaking and lovely.
