The House with a Clock in its Walls (2018) Film Review

After losing his parents, Lewis (Owen Vaccaro) goes to live with his mysterious and eccentric uncle, Johnathon Barnavelt (Jack Black). He is unhappy and confused. The house is strange, the kids at school are mean and his uncle is odd. And then things get even weirder.

This is apparently a kids film, but it is a very dark film, and I think it would be too dark for many kids, Plus it is strange and confusing and… it didn’t quite work for me. There was a lot to enjoy, but overall it was just odd.
