David Nyuol is the autobiographical story of his life living through war and famine, travelling from one part of Africa to another to try to find safety and freedom, but eventually he made his way to Australia. Here, he settled, studied and found a new life for himself while finding ways to help Sudanese people both here and back in South Sudan.
Nyuol tells some very full on stories but with a positive attitude and humour. He now travels telling his story in schools, and I was recommended this book by a friend whose child met him and thought he was fantastic.
